Becoming a TOPSoccer Volunteer Coach!

The Morris United Soccer Club will run a 6 week TOPSoccer program in the Fall 2018 starting September 14, 2018 and ending October 19, 2018.   The program is open to special needs children aged 5-17.   

TOPSoccer Volunteer coaches are a critical component for the success of TOPSoccer!  TOPSoccer coaches are adult volunteers who have are specifically trained to work with special needs children in a soccer atmosphere.  TOPSoccer coach certification is managed by the NJ Youth Soccer Association.   The  US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Coaching Course costs $25.00 and combines a 3-hour classroom seminar with a 1-hour practical demonstration that is designed to guide both the novice and experienced coach. The course presents information on player characteristics, the qualities of a good coach, modern coaching methods and how to collaborate with the TOPSoccer Buddy in providing a fun growth experience for soccer players with special needs. MUSC  Fall 2018 TOPSoccer Program Details

Session Frequency:  All sessions are held on Fridays, subject to weather. 

Session Dates:  Sept 14, Sept 21, Sept 28, Oct 5, Oct 12 & Oct 19

Session Times:  6:00PM - 7:00 PM : Buddies are required to be onsite by 5:45PM

Eligible Ages to be a Buddy:  Freshman - Senior in High School (Born: 9/30/2004 - 10/1/2000) 

Location:   Ryan Soccer Field at The Delbarton School
