MUSC Kicking Kid's Cancer

MORRIS UNITED SOCCER CLUB RAISED OVER $5,500 IN 2019 FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER RESEARCH BY SUPPORTING A ST. BALDRICK'S HEAD SHAVING EVENT

More children die of childhood cancer than any other disease in the U.S., and every year 300,000 kids worldwide are diagnosed. Cancer doesn’t care about borders, race, nationality, age, socioeconomic status or religion—it can strike any child at any time.

Children with cancer hope for the same things that healthy children hope for—they dream of being princesses or pirates, walking on the moon, getting married and having children. But cancer gets in the way

MUSC stepped up with Grasshopper Off the Green and the Plaza Barber Shop to Kick Kid's Cancer by sponsoring a St. Baldrick's head shaving event to raise money to support cancer research.

Although the heads are now bald, you can still make a donation to make a difference.  To make a donation please visit our MUSC St. Baldrick's link:  https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/MorrisUnitedSoccerClub

Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

If you have any questions, please contact Casey Becht | caseybechtmusc@gmail.com

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
